Hope the league can come up with a 2017 solution for cutting down on the number of pass interference calls and the related challenges. Fighting for the ball can make for some of the best game action. Big plays from cheap calls suck.
Maybe a 7 yd zone from the line of scrimmage limit for contact or something.
That said, Dressler is good for two pass interference first downs every game he plays. Probably others that milk it as well but he is good at it.
Reminds me of the year of Troy Copp when the plan was to draw a roughing the passer call. It was one of their most productive play calls and maybe the only sure way for them to move the sticks.
