Congratulations to Medlock for 7 field goals! Great to have him but you can't continually trade touchdowns for field goals, especially inside the red zone, and expect to keep winning.

I agree, but I think the Bomber offense will get this corrected.
They do realize the problem because Nicholls said the same thing
when interviewed after the game on CJOB.

I'm trusting Lapolice to figure out some plays for the next Red Zone trip.
For example, when you are on the 5 yard line and in, your speediest guy should
be able to outflank any defender. More faking needs to be done too.

I wonder if the OC ever watches how other teams past and present, in the NFL
and CFL, got/get the ball in for a TD. Of course, you still have to execute these plays.
Therein is the rub!

Agree. We were one "Medlock" better, than a 1-7 team. Some of the tackling was awful after being excellent in previous games . Looked as though we could not stop a pass and I think we were already next to bottom for passing yards given up.Sure, a W is a W but you have to admit we were pretty disappointing compared to previous games . PL game plan far too predictable. Certainly we had our heroes BUT it WAS a 1-7 team we were playing.

Winning is everything. Those guys on special teams won't make a similar mistake last year. Medlock is the real deal, we are lucky he is 32 and the NFL opportunities have sailed. The future looks bright!

I agree with that however now's not really the time. The labor day classic almost never plays out as it should. The riders always have a built in edge in that game but we managed to sneak out of there with a win and we've not won 5 in a row. Ugly wins are a whole lot better then pretty losses.

We won, so called "better" Bomber teams have lost before us.

Last one at Toilet Field to boot. Not an easy task and we did it. Next week we pump em.

Had a couple near missed throws, one of which shoulda been caught by Sheppard I believe. That's part of the redzone issue, you can't drop passes like that.

Agreed. SK scored in four plays (two TDs, two 2 pt converts) for 16 points that beats five field goals. I think LaPolice calls too conservative a game plan whenever we have a lead. We were one missed convert and one questionable PI call that favoured us away from a loss. I don't like it when officiating screws us over for a loss, but it doesn't necessarily feel good when that's how we get a win.

Medlock is money, though. He's made the difference quite a few times this year. Great off season signing.
Always my team, even at their worst.
