I coulda swore u used to be a Leafs fan. A couple seasons of missin' the playoffs and ur off the bandwagon eh. :?

I don't mind the fact that the Leafs didn't make the playoffs (They didn't deserve to make it) but the fact that neither them nor the Habs made it pisses me right off.

Never been a Leafs ever and certainly not a Habs fan. As a bruins fan, I am ecstatic to see them both go bye bye. The Bruins may not have gave me much to cheer about this year but I certainly cheered this weekend to get both the Leafs and Habs eliminated.

As a Habs fan, I hate the Leafs with all the power of my being.

I think I may become an Islanders fan after today. :D

I'm quite content with the situation... would have rather seen the Habs in there than NYI, but I'll take either one over the Leafs. Anyone see that game last night? At the end you would have thought that they had just won the Cup.

CBC has to be upset as they get no leafs and no habs. I mean who really wants to watch the Isles?

I would have liked to see the Leafs in the playoffs because we can always use another team from Canada in the playoffs. I still wish Montreal would have won though because they had a legit shot at contending.

Still, the Devils could have mopped the floor with the Islanders today. They knew what they were doing.

Doesn't matter though. My Sens are going to go far and the Canucks have the goaltending to win the cup.

The leafs had many games in the regular season they just blew a lead. They did not deserve to be in the playoffs. Mtl could of finished off Tor on sat, but yet they blew a lead, and penaltys did not help them. As for leafs fans complaining that the devils should of played MB in net, he has played in alot of games and needs a break and also why risk him getting injured in a game that has no affect in your standing. Anyways the NYI win sure looks good for the leafs.

1967 and counting!!!!!

This goes to show you how much of Canada's team the Leafs really are. More people are happy to see them out than sad.

I'm content that the Leafs were able to knock out the habs...but dissapointed that the Isles are in. They should have put Brodeur...ice cold...into that shoot out.

Like Don said last night the Devils should have started Brodeur and not Clemmensen. The Leafs got the short end of the stick with that decision by Lou.

But it was obviously a smart decision... A.)PLay brodeur so the leafs can get in the playoffs... or B.)rest him up and not get him hurt so we can make a run in the playoffs.... obviously B.

I would have rather seen either the leafs or the habs in the playoffs over the isles... but i made a sweet $100 bucks on the mtl loss.. so i won't complain.
