This one could go to a seventh game. Crosby is good but he has no playoff experience. Also, Fleury has been known to choke under pressure.

Still, Emery will have to be at the top of his game to stop the Pens.

I'm still hoping for a Sens vs Canucks Stanley Cup final.

The young Pens will win one round, and nothing like Emery to keep them in every game. Lots of scoring in this round.

This will be one of the better series IMO. I think the Pens have the potential for a first round upset, but I think they will be in tough to pull it off against the deep and playoff experienced Sens. I think the lack of experience + lack of depth, will be the Pens achilles heel.

But if Emery can't be a rock back in between the twine, the Sens hopes for a long playoff long run, are a lil slimmer. Will the loss of Hasek and Lurch (Chara) be evident? I guess we'll see..

Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Recchi will give the Sens fits on defense, but can the rest of the team step up as well? The added grit of Roberts and Laraque should help the young inexperienced Pens. Depth behind Gonchar and Whitney is suspect, and will be tested when other teams are rolling out 3-4 lines.

If anything, this series should give the Pens good experience to build on.

Sens in 6.

Well the Senators are also a very young team as well. This will definately be a very exciting series to watch the games will be high scoring and very close.

Hasek didnt even play half the year and missed the playoffs last year. He was basically non-existence and wasnt even a part of that team. It was Emery's team last year and its still his.

Oh I know, I just mean, that without a rock-soild goalie like Hasek between the pipes, the Sens don't always play with the same kind of confidence they once did, but Emery is slowly coming along and proving himself to be capable. I mean like an explosive offensive team like the Sens is more intimidating with Hasek in net. And last year in the playoffs, the Sens didn't seem like the same dominating team with Emery in net, hence the reference to Hasek. Can Emery step out of the shadow/memory of Hasek and lead the Sens to a long playoff run, that is the point I was trying to make.
