Can Hasek lead the way?

Are the Flames lucky to be here?

After what happened last year when the Oilers made the playoffs and Calgary snubbed them(Come on, all of Canada supported the Flames and the city of Calgary couldn't do the same? What a bunch of ego maniacs). I hope the Flames have a hard time getting to the second round if they get there at all. I just hope that if the Flames go to the Conference finals, they'll be beaten by the Canucks.

I want the Flames to lose but I cheer for all the Canadian team because I hate those southern teams with no fan support winning the cup.

Let's Go Red Wings

If the Wings are to win this they need Hasek healthy and playing at the top of his game and Datsyuk to start performing in the playoffs. They need more consistency and with that they have a great shot at routing the Flames.

What... the ****... was that?...

I never saw game one and apparently it was pretty brutal, but this (game 2) has got to be the worst game I've ever seen the Flames play. No one was moving their feet (with the exception of Lombardi), they couldn't make a pass , they couldn't break out, couldn't get the puck in and establish, couldn't get any shots on net, didn't hit (The couple exceptions, they had chances to score right afterwards - coincidence, I think not), etc, etc, etc...

Not to put blame on any one player cause they all played terrible, but what the hell is Tanguay doing out there, he looks like a rag of ****.

Just to add... I hope the 'C' of Red can revive this team or it'll be a short series.

Watching this series is giving me flash backs to '96 when the Red Wings kicked around the Jets - Calgary was outshot 51-15 today?!?!?!?!? I thought the Flames would put up more of fight than this.

The flames are a pretty overrated team these days, they're beyond useless on the road. Expect totally different things when they're at home, but until they learn how to win on the road expect more lopsided games like these when playing in detroit.

If Calgary would play playoff hockey instead of trying to outskill the Wings, they'd be fine. I thought we'd see a little 1-2-2, make the Wings make some mistakes and capitalize. Instead the Flames are playing like they did in the reg season, unfocused, sloppy garbage.
